Our Staff

Dr. Sinaie is the founder and CEO of Bakersfield Foot and Ankle Surgeons and former CEO of California Foot Doctors. After graduating medical school, he completed four years of training in Foot and Ankle Reconstuctive Surgery and Trauma at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

He has published multiple articles in national publications and holds numerous patents on foot and ankle inventions to date. He is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified for foot surgery through the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). The ABPS is the only officially recognized podiatric surgical board by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

He enjoys spending time with his two children as well as judo, kayaking and camping. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, Farsi, and Arabic.

After graduating from residency as Chief Resident, he worked in an orthopedic surgery group in Manhattan before relocating to Bakersfield. He began Bakersfield Foot and Ankle Surgeons in August of 2008.

Dr. Hartman completed undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1982. He completed a surgical residency in Van Nuys, California, and has practiced in a variety of office models throughout his career. He has been in private practice, in the U.S. Air Force as a podiatrist in Lakenheath, England, and in a Health Maintenance Organization in Bakersfield now for many years. He joined Bakersfield Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 2009, and continues to increase time in the office.

He is Board Ceritfied by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in 1989, and has recertified in 1999, and again in 2009. He is on the Active Staff at San Joaquin Community Hospital, and the Courtesy Staff at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospitals. He has participated in community volunteer work for Bakersfield Community Hospital (Credentials Commitee), the United Way, and has been a Board of Directors Member for the American Red Cross of Kern County. He plays the trumpet in the Concert Band at California State University, of Bakersfield, and for The Bakersfield Winds.

Personally, Dr, Hartman enjoys working with all ages in his patient population from infants to seniors. He enjoys the challenges of podiatric medicine, diabetic care, sports medicine and injuries, biomechanics and orthitics, and surgical cases.
